UCLA Face scan preview
This video showcases how photogrammetry and Augmented Reality can be applied to plastic surgery pre-visualization. Using high-resolution facial scanning, we create an accurate 3D model of the patient’s face that can be viewed, rotated, and analyzed from any angle. Surgeons can then simulate potential outcomes and review them with the patient in advance, improving communication, confidence, and planning accuracy. Through AR, the 3D visualization can even be projected into real-world space, creating an immersive and intuitive way to preview aesthetic enhancements before surgery.
